Credit

Borrowing capability. When a lender gives you credit, the lender lets you purchase goods or services now, and you repay the lender over time. In addition to repaying the amount borrowed, you also pay interest and fees. The better your credit score and credit record, the more money you can borrow, the less you’ll pay in fees, and the lower the interest rate that the lender will charge you.
