Equifax

One of the three major consumer credit bureaus in the United States, along with Experian and TransUnion. Equifax collects financial data on individuals and makes that information available to employers, landlords and others. The data includes payment history, credit account information and public records. Equifax was founded in 1899 and is headquartered in Atlanta.
