FICO

A credit scoring model created by the Fair Isaac Corporation and used to evaluate a borrower’s credit risk. FICO scores range from 300 to 850. The score is based on your payment history (35% of the score), amounts owed (30%), length of your credit history (15%), amount of new credit (10%) and credit mix (10%). The higher your score, the more likely your loan request will be approved and the less you’ll pay in interest. See Credit Score
